Whether you’re a Canadian coming to New Zealand or a Kiwi heading to Canada, our 6 month exchange program offers a unique opportunity to grow deeper in your relationship with God while serving others. You’ll be part of a Christ-centered community where worship, prayer, and fellowship are central to daily life. Through your involvement—whether volunteering in New Zealand or working in Canada—you’ll have the chance to live out your faith in practical ways, be challenged to step out of your comfort zone, and witness God’s love in action. International Volunteer Exchange Program
Canadian Applicants
Experience New Zealand through Volunteering!
Join our Volunteer Exchange Program (VEP) and spend six incredible months in New Zealand, from October to April. As a participant, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in New Zealand's stunning landscapes, unique culture, and vibrant community while contributing meaningfully through volunteering. You'll be involved in various roles that support our Christian Camping Ministry, working alongside our local teams to create unforgettable experiences for youth and other participants. During your stay in New Zealand, you'll also be provided with full accommodation and food covered by your camp, and given a weekly stipend of at least $160NZD per week worked to spend on what you choose.

Based on past exchange programs, we've created a rough cost for your 6 month stay in New Zealand. These are all recorded in Canadian dollars, and items like flights and health insurance are subject to change based on when they are booked:
$2000 - Flight Costs
$600 - New Zealand Visa Application Fee
$1000 - Travel and Health Insurance Costs
$2000 - CCNZ Participation Fee (this includes internal flights in New Zealand to and from your camp, a 3-day orientation experience, and a fun 2-day departure experience including a visit to Hobbiton.)
Total Estimated Cost: $5,600 CAD

Kiwis, are you ready for a life-changing adventure in Canada? Our Volunteer Exchange Program offers you the chance to work and explore Canada from May to October. Participants apply for paid positions within various Christian camps in Ontario, Canada, gaining valuable work experience while being part of a dynamic, faith-driven community. This program allows you to engage in meaningful work, develop new skills, and experience Canada's breathtaking natural beauty. It's more than just a job—it's an opportunity to grow spiritually, make lifelong friends, and create lasting memories.

$2500 - Flight Costs $300 - Visa Costs includes Biometrics
$1000 - Travel and Health Insurance Costs
$2000 - CCNZ Participation Fee. This includes a 3-day orientation experience, A 3 night canoeing trip and a fun 2-day departure debrief experience.
Total estimated Cost: $5800NZD
During your stay in Canada, full accommodation and food costs will be deducted from your weekly pay.

You will be joining a team that is involved in running all aspects of life at camp. That will include kids ministry camps, schools camps, youth groups, general campers, church groups, sports groups. From outdoor adventures, water sports, snow sports, crafts, catering and hospitality, there’s something for everyone.

Kiwis love the “Great Outdoors” with sooo much to see and do from hiking, fishing, bush and beach walking, kayaking, cycling and camping to name a few. On your days off you will have an abundance of things to do from enjoying our great coffee culture, cuisine and arts scene, to museums and visiting famous tourist destinations like Hobbiton.
